Multi-Function Unit Replaces Apollo Modules

The Multi Function I/O Unit introduced by Peripheral Support Services (PSS) can be fitted directly to both Apollo Series 90 and XP95 fire detection loops. The unit uses a single loop address and provides a number of input/output functions that can be controlled from the Fire Alarm Control Panel.

Different configurations are available which allow the unit to be directly compatible with either the Apollo Series 90 Shop Interface Unit or Digital 3-Input/3-Output Module, both of which are now obsolete. The input/output configuration matches the original Apollo modules allowing direct replacement of any faulty units and the expansion of existing systems. It is available as either a boxed unit or as a PCB module, together with an optional on-board charger.

A 4-Input/4-Output version will also be available which will operate like a 4 zone conventional panel, interfaced to the loop via a single address. All four inputs can have location messages assigned and the outputs can be controlled locally or from the main control panel. The unit can be fitted with either a blank front panel or have Zone, Alarm and Fault indicators and a keypad for local operation.
